President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reassured Nigerians that his administration is making steady progress in addressing the country’s challenges, despite prevailing difficulties, Eko Hot Blog reports.
Speaking at a special Jumaat prayer in Abuja to commemorate Nigeria’s 65th Independence anniversary, Tinubu represented by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris urged citizens to embrace peace, tolerance, and hard work for national development.

“Differences will always exist,” Tinubu said in a statement issued by Suleiman Haruna, Director of Public Relations in the Ministry of Information. “But Nigerians must imbibe values of unity and peaceful coexistence so that, collectively, we can achieve the progress and prosperity promised since this administration assumed office.”
The president described the nation as undergoing a process of transformation, calling for patience as efforts continue to turn around its fortunes.

He also appealed to citizens to pray for the country and its leaders while working together, irrespective of ethnic, religious, political, or social differences, to build the Nigeria of their dreams.
