BAL Battle: Rivers Hoopers Face Off Douanes In Seeding Game
- Rivers Hoopers will compete against AS Douanes in a seeding game for the BAL playoffs.

Eko Hot Blog reports that Rivers Hoopers will compete against AS Douanes of Senegal in one of the four seeding games for the 2024 Basketball Africa League playoffs at the BK Arena in Kigali next week.

The seeding games will be held from May 24 to 25.
Last week, the teams faced off twice in the Sahara Conference, with each team securing one victory.
The Hoopers triumphed over Douanes 77-68 in their opener, but the Senegalese team later narrowly defeated.
The KingsMen 56-54 with a last-second two-point shot by Mike Fofana.
The winner of the Hoopers vs. Douanes matchup (Game 40) will face the winner of the Petro de Luanda vs. US Monastir game (Game 39) in the quarter-finals. The losers of Game 40 will compete against the losers of Game 39.
The KingsMen, winners of the Sahara Conference, currently hold the third position in the overall standings.
They trail behind FUS Rabat of Morocco, champions of the Kalahari Conference, in second place, and Al Ahly of Egypt, who lead the overall standings as champions of the Nile Conference.
Douanes and Petro de Luanda from Angola round out the top five teams.
US Monastir from Morocco holds the sixth position.
While Al Ahly Libya and Cape Town Tigers occupy the seventh and eighth positions, respectively.
In the other quarter-final seeding matchups, Al Ahly will face FUS Rabat, Petro de Luanda will take on US Monastir, and Al Ahly Libya will play against Cape Town Tigers.
