EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Catalan club view Osimhen as an ideal long-term replacement for Lewandowski, whose role in the squad is gradually being reduced. According to reports from Spain via Haberlisin, Barcelona’s recruitment team believe Osimhen fits the profile needed for the next stage of the club’s rebuild.
Since the 2022/23 season, Osimhen has established himself as one of Europe’s most reliable goal scorers. He guided Napoli to the Serie A title as the club’s top scorer and has continued to impress with his pace, physical presence, and clinical finishing—qualities that have drawn attention from top European clubs.
Despite growing interest, Galatasaray are reportedly reluctant to sell their star forward. The Turkish champions are enjoying a strong domestic campaign, with Osimhen playing a central role in their success. Club officials are keen to retain the 27-year-old for at least another season, though they are understood to have set an informal €80 million valuation for serious bids. This would represent a profit on the €75 million paid to secure his permanent move from Napoli earlier this season.
Osimhen continues to justify the attention with his performances. After scoring 37 goals and providing seven assists last season, he has maintained his prolific form this campaign, even with interruptions due to the Africa Cup of Nations, where he helped Nigeria secure third place.

Under contract with Galatasaray until 2029, Osimhen gives the Turkish side a strong negotiating position while leaving room for a potential deal should a compelling offer arrive.
