Benue PDP Swears in New Executives Amid Ongoing Internal Crisis
Mr. Chris Abah, the newly-elected state chairman, was sworn in alongside 14 other members of the State Working Committee (SWC) during a ceremony held at the PDP state secretariat in New GRA, Makurdi.
Barrister Sam Tsumba administered the oath of office on behalf of the Benue PDP Caretaker Committee, congratulating the new leaders on their emergence.

The executives, including Deputy Chairman Hon. Clement Azuanongo, Secretary Mr. Moses Audu, Youth Leader Saater Atser, and Woman Leader Grace Abine, were elected at the Benue State PDP Congress on October 3.
In his response, Chairman Hon. Abah pledged to lead efforts to revitalize the party and reclaim Benue State for the PDP by 2027.

“I accept this responsibility to reposition the party and urge all well-meaning members to unite as we work towards our comeback,” he said.
It’s worth noting that the Benue PDP remains factionalized, with the Ortom/Moro and Suswan camps holding parallel congresses on October 3.
