Karim Benzema has taken to social media to express his pride over Real Madrid’s 4-1 aggregate victory over Atalanta in the Uefa Champions League round of 16 on Tuesday night.
EKO HOT BLOG had gathered that Los Blancos had taken 1-0 first leg in Bergamo last week but returned to base in the Spanish capital even further strengthened with Benzema giving the men in white the lead in the 34th minute followed by captain Sergio Ramos’ penalty on the hour mark.
Luis Muriel scored Atalanta’s consolation goal seven minutes from time and Marco Asensio was there to put the final nail in the coffin moments later to book their berth in the quarter-finals.

The French striker has 21 goals in 31 competitive games this season and will hope to add to his tally when Zinedine Zidane’s charges travel to Celta Vigo in La Liga on Saturday.
