How Bobrisky Ended Up In FCID Female Cell After Arrest At Seme Border
Controversial crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, was detained in a female cell at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos State.
A source from the facility, who spoke anonymously, confirmed that Bobrisky spent the night in the female section due to his high-profile lifestyle and the absence of other female detainees at the time of his detention.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the source explained, “Bobrisky arrived at FCID, Alagbon, around 10 p.m. on Monday after being arrested by immigration officials at the Seme Border. He was brought here for safekeeping.
Due to the sensitive nature of his case, we had to ensure his safety and security. He was placed in a cell near the female section as there were no other female inmates at the time.”
Further elaborating, the source added that placing Bobrisky among male detainees posed a potential risk due to concerns about his safety.
“There is a general awareness of the controversies surrounding Bobrisky’s lifestyle, and we needed to avoid any situation that could escalate into a scandal. For this reason, he was kept in a separate cell close to the female section.”
Confirming the detention, FCID spokesperson Mayegun Aminat told PUNCH on Tuesday, “He is currently in custody at FCID, Alagbon, and we are awaiting further directives on the case. We expect to receive a remand order today.”
According to sources, Bobrisky’s arrest by the Nigeria Immigration Service occurred during an attempt to exit the country through the Seme border, indicating that he may have been aware that security agencies were pursuing him.
The source speculated, “It appears that Bobrisky was trying to flee the country, possibly aware that he was being tracked by authorities.”
