EKO HOT BLOG reports that Bobrisky is embroiled in allegations made by social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, who accused him of bribing EFCC officials with ₦15 million to have money laundering charges dropped and to serve his jail term in a private apartment rather than a standard correctional facility.
EDITOR’S PICKS:
VeryDarkMan shared these allegations in a viral video, providing an audio recording in which Bobrisky purportedly admitted to paying the sum to unnamed EFCC officials to dismiss the charges against him.
In response, EFCC Chairman Dele Oyewale announced that an investigative team has been assembled to look into the claims. Both Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan have been summoned to appear for questioning at the commission’s Lagos office.
In a post on his Instagram page on September 26, Bobrisky expressed his distress, stating that the ongoing situation is driving him to contemplate suicide. He lamented that the actions of others are motivated by hatred aimed at bringing him down.
