BREAKING: Again, Three PDP Senators Dump Party For APC
- Three PDP Senators have dumped the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)
EKO HOT BLOG reports that three Senators, including a principal officer, elected on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Wednesday, announced their decision to join the ruling All Progressives Congress (PDP).
The latest defection is coming barely 24 hours after two federal lawmakers dumped the PDP for APC.
The three PDP Senators, who dumped the party on Wednesday include the Minority Whip, Sahabi Ya’u (Zamfara North); Peter Nwaoboshi (Delta North); and Lawal Anka (Zamfara West).

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the lawmakers made their decision to dump PDP for APC known via separate letters read on the floor of the upper chamber by Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, at the plenary on Wednesday.
The PDP Senators, in the letter, stated that they dumped the party for APC due to the divisions at various levels.
Lawan, therefore, congratulated the new APC senators for their decision to move to the ruling party.
