His move comes shortly after former Interior Minister, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, launched his own registration and membership verification on November 19.
Aregbesola had earlier announced on social media that he finalised his registration at Ward 8, Unit 1, Ifofin in Ilesa East, encouraging both old and new members to formalise their status within the party.

Atiku confirmed his new affiliation on Monday via his official X account, sharing an image of himself displaying his ADC membership card with the caption, “It’s official.”
It is worth noting that Atiku had backed the adoption of the ADC in July as the coalition vehicle for opposition forces preparing to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
