Breaking: Buhari Wins Nigeria’s Presidential Election Having scored the highest Votes

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will announce the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate/incumbent president, Muhammadu Buhari as the winner of the 2019 Presidential election on Tuesday.

Buhari, who will be returning as President for another four years after winning in 2015, defeated Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and other presidential candidates for the seat of power in Aso Rock.

After the official announcement of results from 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) by the Independent National Electoral Commission, Buhari, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has an unassailable 14,602,455 votes, compared to the 10,663,584 votes recorded by Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
