Former Nigeria head coach, Daniel Evumena, has died.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that tragedy has hit Nigeria football again as former Falconets head coach Daniel Evumena has been confirmed dead.
It was gathered that Evumena passed on in the early hours of Wednesday after battling with an undisclosed illness.

The late tactician was Nigeria’s boss at the 2008 FIFA Women’s U20 World Cup in Chile. In the tournament, Nigeria reached the quarterfinals, losing out to France.
Apart from coaching a national side, Evumena was a former Head Coach of Nigeria Women’s Football League giants, Delta Queens.
The late sportsman was also a government employee. In 2021, he retired from the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).

Until his death, the deceased was the Chairman of the Nigeria Football Coaches Association – Delta State Chapter.
