BREAKING: Gas Tanker Explodes On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Injures Three

Gas tanker has exploded on Lagos-Ibadan expressway and injured three persons.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that no fewer than three men have been injured as gas tanker exploded near Berger Yard around KLM 38 on the outward Lagos section of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway corridor.
The Federal Road Safety Corps, Sagamu Unit confirmed that the incident occurred on Sunday evening.

The fire was said to involve a Liquefied Petroleum Gas tanker moving towards Sagamu Interchange on the outward Lagos section of the expressway.
It was learnt that the FRSC operatives from the Sagamu and Mowe Unit Commands were said to have been quickly deployed to the scene. Also, firefighters from the Ogun State Fire Service have intervened to bring the situation under control.
As at the press time, it showed that the three injured adult male occupants had been taken to Idera Hospital, Sagamu for medical attention.
The details of the vehicle could not be obtained yet as the fire was still burning. But, the firefighters contacted had arrived at the scene.
