BREAKING: SDP Chairman Resigns

The Chairman of Social Democratic Party In Osun State, Bayo Faforiji has resigned his chairmanship as well as membership of the party.

Faforiji tendered his resignation on Wednesday in the State Capital, Osogbo.

Antonymous sources within the party revealed that Faforiji had been at loggerhead with some of the party’s power brokers.

Faforiji however said that his values and principles was at variance with that of the party.

He said “I have come to realise that the requirements of my office as chairman and member of the party in the current circumstances are at variance with the values I believe in, and I wish to protect them as long as God gives me sustenance.”
