Burna Boy Celebrates As He Turns 28

It’s glam time for Nigerian music star, who is currently celebrating turning 28 years old.

Coming a day after he shared a rare photo of himself with his father, Samuel Ogulu, the “Down below” singer posted a simple picture on Instagram to mark the occasion on Tuesday.

“Thankful. XX. VIII ? We’re going UP all month!!! ?. @jenjphoto,” he wrote as caption for the photo of himself.

The Star brand ambassador, whose real names is Damini Ogulu, was born on July 2, 1991 to Samuel Ogulu his wife, Bose Ogulu also widely known as Mama Burna Boy.

His mother is the daughter of foremost music critic and former manager of late Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
