“Tunji Bello is not from Epe, yet he believes that whatever he does is still for the benefit of Lagos State. This is highly commendable, and I advise more sons and daughters of Lagos to emulate his initiative,” she said.
She referenced the project carried out by the late philanthropist S.L. Edu at LASU Ojo, acknowledging its impact but stressing the need for indigenes of Epe to also prioritize their home community in developmental initiatives.
“I am not saying it is bad, but as an indigene of Epe, I strongly believe that charity should always begin from home. We need more citizens of Epe to participate actively in the growth and development of our community,” she added.
Alhaja Raji called on stakeholders, leaders, and well-meaning individuals from Epe to follow Bello’s example by investing in projects that will uplift the community and strengthen LASU Epe as a center of excellence.
