After a hot day or stressful day at work, everyone would want to have a glass of cold water to help chill off and recuperate from the stressful day. Coldwater is the choice of many due to the kind of stressful work they do but it is not always the best.
Drinking Cold Water Often may also cause some health issues or even worsen an already existing health issue.

Achalasia
Excess or regular intake of cold water can worsen achalasia. A health condition that affects or interferes with how food passes through the oesophagus. Research has shown that drinking Cold water after a meal or while eating can worsen the pain being felt due to this condition.
Breathing Difficulties
Coldwater can also cause a person’s mucous to be thicker and more difficult to pass through the respiratory tract. When this happens, it can not only cause nasal congestion but also make it literally impossible for it to go or even worsen it. If you are suffering from nasal congestion or any form of breathing difficulties, then you must abstain from cold water.

Migraine
Coldwater intake when regular can cause or worsen migraine in people already having or suffering from migraine. So for your own good, cut down on the rate at which you take cold water. It is not completely good and healthy for the body though adequate water intake is.
