In a statement released on Tuesday by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kimiebi Ebienfa, Nigeria reaffirmed its commitment to the long-standing and historic ties between both nations.

Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts administered the oath, and Trump pledged to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.
