The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 207,210 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated October 7, the NCDC reports 290 new cases with 11 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 14 states – FCT (127), Lagos (45), Kaduna (28), Delta (18), Kwara (17), Plateau (13), Zamfara (10), Rivers (8), Imo (21), Ekiti (5), Nasarawa (4), Edo (3), Ondo (3), Akwa Ibom (2) and Oyo (1).
According to the NCDC, 0 cases was reported in and Sokoto State.
