[COVID-19] NCDC Confirms 31 Fresh Infections

  • Total cases confirmed – 255,716
  • Total cases discharged – 249,896
  • Total deaths recorded – 3,143

EDITOR’S PICK

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 255,716 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated April 23 – 27, the NCDC reports 31 new cases with no COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 6 states – Lagos (21), Oyo (4), FCT (2), Kaduna (2), Delta (1) and Rivers (1).

According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Bauchi, Cross River, Kano, Plateau and Sokoto States.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 249,896 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 3,143.
