COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 39 New Cases
- Total cases confirmed – 167,331
- Total cases discharged – 163,913
- Total deaths recorded – 2,118
The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 167,331 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated June 21, the NCDC reports 86 new cases with one death resulting from COVID-related complications.
The new cases were reported in 6 states – Lagos-17, Borno-7, Ondo-6, Rivers-5, FCT-3 and Kaduna-1.

However, the infectious disease agency said the report includes a backlog of cases from 5th April to 17th June.
EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 163,913 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,118.
According to the NCDC, 0 cases were reported in Ekiti, Imo, Kano, Oyo, Plateau and Sokoto.
