Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Wednesday disclosed that 474 New COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in 15 states and the federal capital territory (FCT).
Ekohotblog reports that the agency made the disclosure in its daily updates and situation reports of the virulent infection.
The Wednesday figure brings Nigeria’s active case count for COVID-19 to 4,243
According to NCDC, of the 474 new cases FCT top with 180 new infections, Lagos trails it with 134 fresh cases, while Kebbi with 45 positive samples..
FCT has the highest figure of active cases in the country with 1,345 active cases, followed by Lagos with 793, and Kaduna with 355.

By the same token, 132 patients were discharged on Wednesday, and two new deaths were confirmed, which brings the COVID-19 related death toll to 1,184.
Out of 70,669 cases now confirmed across the country, a total of 65,242 persons have recovered.
