An Ondo state aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Banji Okunomo, has urged members of the public to pray for Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
According to report, Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu was confirmed positive to COVID-19.
Reacting to Akeredolu health condition, Okunomo on Thursday, said Akeredolu needed prayers now more than ever.

He noted that COVID-19 is real and urged Nigerians to follow all COVID-19 guidelines imposed on the state as ways to cushion the effect of the pandemic.
The aspirant said ”notwithstanding political affiliations,I sympathise with Akeredolu”.
With words of prayer, Okunomo urged members of the public and residents of the state to pray for the governor.
“COVID-19 is not a death sentence, if detected early and treated on time,” Okunomo added.
Okunomo also advised as many who had close contact with the governor to go on isolation in order to detect and curb the spread of the virus.
