EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 211,496 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated October 27, the NCDC reports 166 new cases with 2 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 14 states – Deota-36, FCT-22, Rivers-21, Lagos-20, Anambra-18, Ondo-17, Oyo-8, Kebbi-6, Enugu-5, Plateau-5, Ebonyi-3, Kano-2, Bayelsa-1, Ekiti-1 and Jigawa-1.
According to the NCDC, 0 case was recorded in Bauchi, Gombe, Ogun, Osun and Sokoto States.
It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 202,930 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,886.
