Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials, COWLSO is collaborating with market men and women to improve Sanitation and security in Lagos Markets.
Lagos First Lady, Joke Sanwo-Olu, called on market men and women and Lagosians as a whole to take ownership of their immediate environments by cleaning their surroundings rather than waiting for govt.
For the next six months, COWLSO would be seen in different areas and markets across the State assisting market men and women in cleaning the markets.

Dr. (Mrs) Sanwo-Olu said that since the court injunction restraining the State Govt from enforcing monthly Sanitation is still in force, govt must devise means of ensuring cleanliness of the environment.
The First Lady frown at individuals who are in the habit of begging for alms, urging such individuals to embrace waste waste sorting as a means of gaining financial independence.
She said that the market men and women are already making appreciable efforts in cleaning their environment but there is need to go extra miles for better result.
