‘Cyber Bullying’: Prince Harry, Wife Ditch Social Media
British royal couple Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle have deleted their social media account due to perennial and worsened harassment and cyber bullying, Ekohotblog can report
According to UK newspaper, The Sunday Times, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are mortified and frustrated by the deluge of vile comments targeted at them by online trolls.
Prince Harry, 36, and biracial American wife Meghan — a 39-year-old former actress — will discontinue the use of their social networking apps — Facebook and Twitter accounts, including their Instagram handles which have amassed over 10 million followers.
The couple came under heavy criticism when they announced their decision to abdicated their monarchical obligations for personal aspiration.
Widely regarded as a liberal and “progressive” couple in a largely conservative royal family, the duo had earlier announced their decision to step back from royal duties as senior members of the British monarchy, to pursue “financial independence” and “earn a professional income.”

It remains unclear if the duchess would return to acting as the couple settle into their new life — sharing their time between the UK and North America.
The social media would not be accommodated in their trajectory outside royalty, insider sources told the Times.
