EKO HOT BLOG reports that Dalori assumed leadership at a crucial National Working Committee (NWC) meeting held at the APC National Secretariat on Blantyre Street, Abuja. The session marked his first official duty as the party’s acting leader.
Naija News reports that the Monday meeting was convened to deliberate on key internal party matters, including the party’s next steps amid recent leadership changes and the ongoing political realignments ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Present at the meeting were the National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, and other top members of the party’s leadership structure.

The North Central APC Forum has reportedly thrown its weight behind Senator Tanko Al-Makura, a former Nasarawa State governor and the only CPC governor between 2011 and 2019, as the preferred candidate to succeed Ganduje.

The development is expected to shape further internal negotiations as the APC mov.
