Deputy Superintendent of Corrections, 15 Others Abducted on Lokoja-Enugu Road

A Deputy Superintendent of Corrections, Innocent Ogbu, and 15 other passengers have been abducted while traveling to Enugu for a development course.

Ogbu, who serves as the unit commander of the Armed Squad at the Medium-Security Custodial Centre in Minna, Niger State, was kidnapped on Saturday, November 23, 2024, along the Lokoja-Enugu road.

The abduction was confirmed by the command’s public relations officer, Rabiu Mohammed, who stated that Ogbu was seized along with 15 other commuters traveling in an 18-seater commercial bus.
