Dubois Knocks Out Joshua To Retain IBF World Heavyweight Title
Dubois ended Joshua’s challenge in the fifth round, marking the biggest win of his career in front of a roaring crowd of 96,000 at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night. The 27-year-old floored Joshua multiple times throughout the fight, eventually sealing the bout with a powerful counter right hook that dashed Joshua’s hopes of becoming a three-time world champion.

This defeat marks the fourth of Joshua’s professional career, adding to his previous losses against Oleksandr Usyk and Andy Ruiz Jr.
Dubois first dropped Joshua in the closing seconds of the opening round with a devastating overhand right that sent him crashing to the canvas. Joshua, visibly shaken, struggled to recover going into the second round.
In the third round, Dubois continued his relentless assault, connecting with a sharp left hook that caused Joshua to touch the floor with his glove, though it wasn’t ruled a knockdown.

Nevertheless, Dubois kept up the pressure, sending Joshua down twice more in the round—although the second fall was considered a slip.
Joshua managed to rally slightly in the fourth round, landing his first clean punch of the fight in the fifth. However, this only ignited Dubois, who responded with a lethal counter right hand that sent Joshua to the floor for the final time. Scrambling to rise, Joshua was unable to beat the count, handing Dubois a decisive knockout victory.
