Edo Election: INEC to Probe Alleged Wrong Figures in Result Sheets
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has acknowledged allegations of incorrect figures being recorded on result sheets from polling units in Saturday’s Edo State governorship election.
In a statement released tonight, INEC confirmed receiving at least two complaints from the 4,519 polling units involved in the election.

The commission assured the public that it would investigate the reported discrepancies and take action against any confirmed violations.
The statement read: “The Commission’s attention has been drawn to allegations of incorrect figures entered into polling unit result sheets during the ongoing Edo State Governorship election.

This is the second complaint we have received out of the 4,519 polling units used for the election.
The Commission will promptly investigate the matter and address any proven infraction.”
