Eko Hot Blog Bags Award at Ile-Bintin Thanksgiving Day Gala
Eko Hot Blog, a fast-rising online media house, received an award of recognition at the Ile-Bintin Thanksgiving Day Gala organized by the American community of the club.
The award, which bears the inscription, “Award of honour presented to EKOHOTBLOG in recognition of your generous contribution to the growth of Ile-Bintin American community,” was presented to Eko Hot Blog at the Thanksgiving Day Gala.
On Thursday, November 28, 2024, the American community of the Ile-Bintin Thanksgiving Day Gala organized and hosted their Nigerian and European counterparts at Onikan, Lagos, to celebrate the annual customary U.S. Thanksgiving Day.

The event had various members of the club who travelled back to Nigeria to have a reunion and Thanksgiving Day celebration together, in remembrance of the club’s humble beginnings and in appreciation of its growth over the years.
Thus, the event featured a night-long performance by a live band group amidst dining, wining, and dancing.
Dr. Olasupo Alli-Balogun, the club’s founding leader, expressed his delight at the growth of the club while recalling and narrating its humble beginnings.
Also, Dr. Adetokunbo Adedeji rolled back the years amidst the excitement as he reminisced about how the club was formed and the fun activities of the past that helped solidify the club’s togetherness and cordial relationship.

We recounted stories about our schools and the experiences gleaned from our social activities at the small house … Indeed, that foundation laid at that time is what we are enjoying today.”
As the Thanksgiving Day Gala gradually wound down, the mayor of the Nigerian community of the Ile-Bintin club presented the award to the representative of Eko Hot Blog publisher, Otunba T.J. Abass, and deeply appreciated Eko Hot Blog for standing by the club and playing a role in its advancement.
