Hon. Oluwadahunsi also extended an olive branch to Epe monarchs, seeking their forgiveness as he called on them to work together with him for the sake of the people.
This online media platform recalls that Hon. Oluwadahunsi, on Friday, May 27, won the primaries election with 43 votes to pick a ticket to contest for the 2nd term.
The aspirants are Hon Adeniyi Shamsideen, Onasanya Tokunbo, Adebowale Akeem Adekola, Adeniyi Rasaq Saliu and Ismail Waliyullah Abiodun.
The lawmaker made this call, on Tuesday, in a statement titled, “Extending The Olive Branch (Aftermath Of The APC Primaries)” sent to EKO HOT BLOG that was signed by him.
“In this intense moment in our dear country, we must approach leadership differently as lives depend on our work. I have always reiterated that politics shouldn’t be a do-or-die affair, but that we should allow the democratic process to take its full course and afterwards join hands together in championing the agenda of change and transformation.
“To my Royals fathers, His Royal Majesty Oba Ogunlaja Babatunde Aladeshoyin of Odo-Noforija kingdom, HRM Oba Asumo Ganiu Aderibigbe Alayandelu of Odo-Ayandelu and His Royal Majesty Oba Ogunsanwo Olukayode Olufolarin Telade IV, Alara of Ilara on whose wings I stand with great honour, I completely submit to your leadership; and I am truly sorry in any way I have stumbled in my dealings with you. I am your son and we are bound to fall in this journey, but we thank God we rise stronger and better every day.
“However, I need You and all the entire royal fathers of Epe to function effectively in my office as I extend my heart in a sincere plea for your forgiveness, hoping that we could work better for the sake of our people.
“I humbly extend my hands of fellowship to my fellow compatriots; Adeniyi Shamsideen, Onasanya Tokunbo, Adebowale Akeem Adekola, Adeniyi Rasaq Saliu and Ismail Waliyullah Abiodun, who like myself wish well for our people.
“I, therefore, extend the olive branch of peace and a right hand of fellowship, knowing where we started from, knowing our journey through the early days of obscurity when nobody knew our names, all we had were our dreams and aspirations as we looked towards our dreams.
“Hon. Adeniyi Shamsideen, remember the days of little beginnings, our quest for change and our drive for success, that same drive that has brought us here today as aspirants.
“My dear brother Adeniyi Rasaq Saliu, I know it seems like we are contemporaries, sometimes two friends can misunderstand each other’s actions, especially when politics is involved, but I extend my right hand of fellowship to you, my brothers. Let us all join hands, let us strive as we can now see that this is beyond us.
“Epe MUST work and our history won’t be complete without the fitting of every piece of the puzzle. Our people need us, our state needs us and our Nation needs us, we cannot afford to fail the next generation as we continually brawl and contend, instead of posing a united font and bringing our minds together in the quest for a better Epe.

“It is with mixed feelings I write this, appealing to all my followers and supporters to drop any form of brawls and attacks, we are brothers and comrades of the same course as I have dropped all my intended legal actions against those that sought to defame my character in the course of campaigning.
“I extend my hands of fellowship, let us all make Epe a safe haven for us all to enjoy peacefully, ” the statement said.
