Ekohotblog reports that Princess Surah Animashaun, Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, has responded to recent criticisms about her leadership and commitment to the community.
The critique, written by Balogun Orubon and published on InfoPalavanNews on September 16, 2024, questioned her priorities, citing the need for minor repairs on roads like Odubote-Nitel and Oke-Posu, which would cost less than one million Naira.

‘Our projects include the construction of classrooms at the Army Children’s School, the renovation of the Epe Customary Court, the installation of solar-powered streetlights on Salaibu Lamidi Street, and ongoing work on Akodu Street and the Legislative Chambers,’ she stated.
She continued, ‘We’ve also built doctors’ lodges, upgraded Adewale-Logun Street, and installed box culverts on several roads. Additionally, community-centered initiatives like the “Epe Food Bank Initiative,” healthcare outreach programs, and youth empowerment projects have positively impacted thousands of residents.’
Princess Animashaun emphasized, ‘These accomplishments clearly demonstrate our dedication to improving the lives of Epe residents and advancing the town’s development. While I welcome constructive feedback, I urge the public to recognize the progress we’ve made thus far.'”
