Epe Local Government’s Box Culvert Project Approaches Final Stage
Ekohotblog reports that Epe Local Government has reported substantial progress in the construction of box culverts on key roads, now 85% complete.
The Executive Chairman Hon. Princess Surah Animashaun, FHTI,aims to enhance drainage and improve local infrastructure through the project.

The Chairman indicated that the remaining tasks involve casting slabs on the culverts to prepare them for use.
“We are making rapid progress, and the final phase will involve the concrete casting of the slabs to complete the project,” she stated.
These box culverts are designed to provide effective drainage solutions for both surface and sub-surface water, addressing flooding concerns in the area.
Hon. Animashaun highlighted that this upgrade is crucial for improving road durability and enhancing community resilience.
She thanked residents for their patience during the construction and apologized for any inconveniences caused.
