Last month, Arteta downplayed concerns about his contract, stating that his focus was on the transfer window.
The new contract extension comes just days before Arsenal’s Premier League showdown against London rivals Tottenham on Sunday.
Arteta, who took over from Unai Emery after leaving a coaching role at Manchester City, has revitalized Arsenal, turning them back into Premier League title contenders.
