City equalized early in the second half through Erling Haaland after Martin Ødegaard had given Arsenal the lead. However, Arsenal took control, scoring four more goals through Thomas Partey, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Kai Havertz, and Ethan Nwaneri, sealing a big win.

Speaking to the BBC, Guardiola said:
“My only regret is the last 25 minutes. We forgot how we should play, even though we had done well for most of the game. It’s always tough playing in this stadium against a strong team like Arsenal.
“After the first 10-15 minutes, we played very well and had control. When we made it 1-1, we had good momentum. But after their second goal, things changed. A deflection led to their third goal, and we lost control.
“This has happened too many times this season – we are making mistakes that cost us. We know we need to stop this, but it keeps happening.
“Still, we reacted well, defended strongly, and created chances. We could have scored three more goals, but we must remain stable and focused for the full 90-95 minutes, no matter what happens.”
