In a celebration of wellness, unity, and personal growth, the Epe Division Professional Women Association (EPWA) recently gathered for a three-day retreat that infused the coastal town of Idado, Ibeju-Lekki, with an inspiring energy.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the event opened at the serene Lagos Palm Beach Resort, where members took part in wellness activities designed to promote both physical and mental health.
A professional instructor led morning exercises and team-building activities on the beach, fostering camaraderie and emphasizing the importance of health and self-care among the professional women in attendance. “Physical and mental wellness go hand in hand with our roles as leaders and community members,” said outgoing president Opeluwa Balogun.
But the retreat wasn’t solely focused on relaxation. Saturday’s activities included a lively election session where members, dressed in vibrant African prints, participated in the election of a new executive team. Candidates shared their visions for EPWA’s future in an environment that blended professionalism with a sense of sisterhood.
The retreat concluded with an awards ceremony recognizing individual achievements within the organization, reinforcing EPWA’s commitment to celebrating and supporting each member’s journey. As members returned to their lives and professions, they carried forward a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper connection to EPWA’s vision of empowerment, unity, and community upliftment.
