He also highlighted the council’s efforts in enhancing primary education, stating, “We have made significant strides in improving our schools. This includes the construction of new classrooms and administrative offices, as well as the installation of perimeter fences and gates to ensure a safe learning environment. Additionally, we have provided amenities like dining sheds and generators to support the students’ daily needs.”

In the past three years, the LCDA has made notable contributions to education. Hon. Monsuru Akinloye stated, “We have distributed over 210,000 exercise books to our pupils, ensuring that they have the essential tools for their education.”

He also highlighted the employment initiatives, saying, “We are proud to have employed 60 NCE/B.Ed graduates in our local public primary schools. This move not only enhances the quality of education but also provides job opportunities for our youth.”

Furthermore, he facilitated the employment of more than 10 local indigenes at the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB), remarking, “By securing positions for over 10 of our indigenes at LASUBEB, we are not only contributing to the education sector but also supporting our community’s development.”
