Esther Ajayi Defies COVID-19, Visits Atan Mountain
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, churches, mosques and business activities have been negatively affected. Virtually all religious leaders were without any other choice but to have virtual services, until the government relaxed the rules a few days ago.
Meanwhile, as the government continued to ease the lockdown by allowing churches and mosques to start opening on Fridays and Sundays, many imams and pastors have started reuniting with their folds, while exercising every COVID-19 measure, such as the compulsory use of face masks.
Few days ago, Rev Esther Ajayi stormed Atan Mountain in Ikare Akoko to preach the word of God.
The ancient city of Ikare Akoko, Ondo State was agog on that Sunday as the international evangelist and ambassador of the white garment churches visited the significant mountain where St. Moses Orimolade, founder of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church used to pray during his lifetime.
Interestingly, the amiable philanthropist visited the mountain with her husband, Rev Ademuyiwa Ajayi, and others such as Prophet Sunday Okeyomi and Most Senior Apostle Babatunde Okeyomi.
While Rev Esther admonished Christians to read their Bible and imbibe the words of God therein, she also told the gathering that there was no way they could serve God and mammon at the same time.
