Eti-osa Local Government Holds Bipartite Public Forum

The current Administration of the Eti-osa Local Government are people oriented, knowing fully well that they are accountable to the people and gave rise to the need to hold a stakeholders consultative forum on year 2021 budget and public hearing on local government by-laws.
The stakeholders forum was held in the council secretariat on Monday, in Lagos.
The gathering is a deliberate effort at listening to the needs of the people in other to make appropriate plans for them in coming year’s budget.
Also, its targeted towards aiding the Legislators and the populace understand the reasons for making by-laws and its intended impact.
The Executive Chairman, Hon. Saheed Adesegun Bankole in his opening address touched on all pressing issues in the country such as the importance of sticking to the Covid-19 regulations, he also talked on the ENDSARS protest and how it has negatively affected lives and property of our residents.
He admonished parents on the need to consciously raise morally upright children and the eventual repercussions of immortality.
He went further to highlight his achievements in the last 3years, adding that it is a continuous process in other to achieve the desired goals.
The Public hearing on By-law was presided over by the Council Clerk, Mr. Bashir Arowolo, the session witnessed legislators passing out new set of laws as regards taxes on several consumable and services.
It was extensively explained to the people and room was given for individuals to air their views.
In attendance was the leader of the legislative arm, Hon. Muftau Bolaji Ogunderu, the entire Legislative council, the Executive council members, key council functionaries, APC Party Chieftains and Faithfuls, CDA executives and other stakeholders.
