Nollywood actress and evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi, has raised alarm over what she described as threats to her safety, claiming that her life, family and ministry are under serious risk.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Anunobi made the claims in a video shared on her Instagram page on Sunday, where she warned that any harm to her person, relatives or properties, whether in Nigeria or abroad, should be attributed to Apostle Psalm Okpe, founder of Fresh Oil Ministry, Egbeda, Lagos, and members of his family.

In the video, the actress said she decided to speak out after several narratives concerning her began circulating online, stressing that she would not allow distractions to weaken her spiritual calling.

Anunobi stated that Apostle Okpe was the cleric who ordained her into ministry and that she once served as an associate pastor under his leadership.
She explained that over time, she became uncomfortable with certain practices within the ministry, which she described as unhealthy and troubling, adding that the environment eventually became unbearable for her.
According to her, she formally disengaged from the ministry towards the end of 2015, but alleged that years later, the cleric continued to present her publicly as someone still under his spiritual authority.
The actress also reacted to claims allegedly attributed to Okpe suggesting that they were romantically involved for several years, describing the allegation as false, malicious and deeply hurtful.
She said the claims were part of what she described as a sustained attempt to damage her reputation and undermine her ministry.

Anunobi further stated that she is prepared to submit herself to an independent medical examination to refute insinuations being made against her character since her ordination into ministry.
Confirming that the matter has moved beyond public exchanges, the actress disclosed that she has approached the courts and instituted a defamation suit against Apostle Okpe.
She maintained that her decision to speak publicly was driven by fear for her safety and the need to protect her integrity, insisting that she remains resolute in her faith and ministry.
