In response, Transport Minister Miri Regev has suspended all bus, train, and light rail services across the country to facilitate security inspections for additional explosive devices, according to Israeli media reports.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has directed the military to launch “an intensive operation against centres of terrorism” in the West Bank, his office announced on X. Meanwhile, police have confirmed that no casualties have been reported so far.

Footage circulating on social media shows at least one bus engulfed in flames in a parking lot, with thick smoke billowing into the sky. Police spokesperson Aryeh Doron stated that officers are actively searching for more explosives in Tel Aviv.

“Our forces are still sweeping the area,” Doron told Channel 12, urging the public to remain vigilant. “Every suspicious bag or object should be reported.” He also noted that investigators are looking into whether the attackers miscalculated the timing of the explosions.

Local media reports indicate that one of the unexploded devices, weighing 5kg, carried a message reading “Revenge from Tulkarem”—a possible reference to a recent Israeli military operation in the West Bank.

In response to the attack, Netanyahu has ordered security agencies to ramp up preventive measures against potential future attacks in Israeli cities. Meanwhile, Kan public broadcaster reports that Transport Minister Regev has cut short her trip to Morocco and is returning to Israel.
