Nigeria’s film industry lost an emblematic filmmaker, Chico Ejiro, during the early hours of Christmas.

- – Mr Prolific, Chico Ejiro, was the younger brother of the legendary filmmaker, Zeb Ejiro, who taught him the basics of the profession.

– He was the owner of a production company called Grand Touch Pictures, and he made over 80 movies over a five-year period. — Each was filmed in just three days. It is often said that he had the Nollywood director’s record with the largest number of films released.

– Born in Isoko, Delta, Nigeria, he became involved in video production because Nigerians would not buy blank video cassette. He accidentally became a director. He developed an interest in being a director when he worked in NTA for a while.
