EKO HOT BLOG reports that the incident occurred in the Oluyole Local Government Area of the city, where the teenager lived under her father’s care after losing her mother ten years ago.
According to reports, the abuse started in December 2024. The girl is now seven months pregnant and has missed her Junior Secondary School 3 (JSS 3) examinations due to the trauma.
Despite the severity of the allegations, the girl made an emotional appeal, asking that her father not be punished. She described him as a caring man who had tried to support her and her siblings since their mother’s death.
“I never wanted this to happen. My father has always been my protector since our mother passed away, and I feel so torn inside. He has been there for me and my siblings, doing his best to provide for us, and despite what he did, I still love him deeply,” she said.
She added, “I don’t want our family to be broken apart by this situation; we’ve already lost so much. I just wish things could go back to the way they were before all of this.”
The girl expressed a need for healing, not punishment, and called on authorities to support the family rather than separate them.
“I want help to find a path forward, to ensure that my siblings and I are safe and cared for. I hope the authorities understand my feelings and consider what’s best for all of us,” she added.

Following a formal complaint and police investigation, Kayode Oluwaseunfunmi was arrested. He is currently being held at Orita Police Station, Challenge, Ibadan.
Police sources confirmed that legal proceedings are underway as investigations continue.
