FG Promises N36M For Anyone Who Finds A Cure To Coronavirus

A whopping sum of N36m is ready for any Nigerian scientist, who finds a cure for the deadly coronavirus, the federal government has promised.

In a post, minister of science and technology, Ogbonnaya Onu assured that huge sum would be given to anyone who discovers a vaccine or remedy to stem the epidemic ravaging Asian countries already.

He therefore called on scientists to figure out a cure for diseases that are unmanageable or difficult to deal with.

Onu expressed his hope, confidence and support for the scientists believing that they could find lasting solutions to problems.

As at now, no case of Covid-19 has been confirmed in Nigeria, but Lassa Fever has claimed a number of lives since its resurgence.
