Finidi Leads Rivers United Top Of NPFL After Dumping Enyimba
The match was a notable encounter between former Super Eagles player Finidi George, who is now the head coach of Rivers United, and his former assistant at Enyimba, Yemi Olanrewaju. In the end, Finidi emerged triumphant against his old club.

Rivers United opened the scoring in the 17th minute with a goal from Ubong Friday. They solidified their lead with a second goal just three minutes before the final whistle, courtesy of young striker Seiyefa Jackson.
With this win, Rivers United now leads the league with 10 points from four matches.
