Vice President Kashim Shettima has assured Nigerians that President Bola Tinubu’s administration is committed to addressing the persistent flooding issues in the country.

He announced that a comprehensive roadmap has been developed to tackle the problem effectively.

Shettima made this commitment during his visit to Maiduguri, Borno State’s capital, on Tuesday, where he conducted an on-the-ground assessment of the severe flooding that has displaced local communities.

In a statement from his spokesman, Stanley Nkwocha, Shettima described the flooding as the most catastrophic in Maiduguri in over thirty years.
