Friends Host Retirement Party for Supercop and Former Lagos CP, Mr Fatai Owoseni

Cheers and applause reigned supreme at the Radisson Blu Hotel, GRA, Ikeja as former Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Mr. Fatai Owoseni, was treated to a lavish retirement party by close friends and associates.

The amiable gentleman and thoroughbred professional who took a bow after 35 years of meritorious public service in the Nigeria Police Force was showered with praises throughout the course of the event for his professionalism, integrity and dogged work ethics.

The classy event which was organised by a Committee of friends that included Oba Saheed Elegushi, Aremo Olusegun Oniru, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, Bisoye Fagade and Dr Muiz Banire SAN, kicked off with an opening prayer by Mr. Muiz Banire and was followed by an opening remarks by Mr. Fagade.

Immediately after the opening remarks, the floor was declared open for goodwill messages, and speakers took turns to pour glowing encomiums on the celebrant. And of course, each of them received a thunderous ovation.

The event reached its peak when the celebrant proceeded to cut his cake assisted by Oba Saheed Elegushi, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, Oluwo of Iwo, AIG Tunji Alapini (Rtd), Chief Emeka Ngige,SAN, Mr Austin Alegeh, SAN, Dr Muiz Banire, SAN, Chief (Mrs) Kemi Nelson and others. The session was officiated by Bode Olanipekun, SAN.

Thereafter, Mr. Owoseni gave a heartfelt speech thanking the Almighty God for seeing him through the years he spent in the Nigeria Police Force and also appreciated those who came to celebrate with him.

The event was rounded off with a vote of thanks by Dr. Muiz Banire after which DJ Abass thrilled guests till the wee hours of the next day.
