From Watching For ₦30 To Playing In the Champions League – Victor Boniface

Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has shared a nostalgic memory of paying just ₦30 as a young player to watch Champions League matches.

Today, he’s living his dream by competing in the prestigious tournament.

In a post shared by football journalist Fabrizio Romano on X (formerly Twitter), Boniface reflected on his journey and expressed his joy at making his Champions League debut during Bayer Leverkusen’s 4-0 win over Feyenoord on Thursday.

Boniface joined Bayer Leverkusen in 2023 from Union SG in a transfer deal worth over €21.7 million.
