In the viral clip, Peller was seen appealing to digital creator Tunde Perry to help facilitate a meeting with Malaika, explaining that his mother is a passionate fan of the Fuji icon’s music.
While Peller noted that several contemporary hip-hop artists were already booked for the celebration, he emphasized that securing Malaika’s presence was a personal priority to honor his mother.
Although Perry initially expressed reservations regarding Malaika’s tight schedule, he subsequently accompanied Peller to the musician’s office.

During the meeting, Peller formally presented his request, explaining the cultural significance of having a top Fuji artist perform for his family.
Moved by the young creator’s reverence for his mother and passion for the genre, Malaika assured the couple that he would adjust his itinerary to attend and perform live at the event without charging his standard performance fee.
