According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) won 19 seats, while Labour Party (LP) members got 5 seats.

1. Amuwo-Odofin Federal Constituency – LP
George Adegeye, the LP candidate for the House of Representatives in Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos, won the February 25th, 2023 election in the area, defeating Prince Lanre Sanusi of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Oghene Ego of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Adegeye won with a wide margin, polling 46,702 of the valid votes cast.
In his victory speech, he thanked the people of Amuwo-Odofin for giving him the privilege to represent them in the House of Representatives, promising to use it judiciously.
His victory has been celebrated by LP members in the area, who believe that his emergence as the winner of the election is a testament to his popularity and acceptance among the people.
The election was peaceful, with no reports of violence or irregularities, and the security agencies were commended for their efforts in ensuring a peaceful and credible election.
2. Eti-Osa Federal Constituency – LP
In a related development, Thaddeus Attah, the LP candidate, won the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.
On Sunday, INEC declared Attah as the winner with 24,075 votes.
Olubankole Wellington of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) came in second with 18,666 votes, followed by Babajide Obanikoro of the APC with 16,901 votes.
There was pandemonium between party agents and INEC officers over the authenticity of the result before it was declared, with APC and PDP agents refusing to accept the announcement of results unless their complaints were addressed.
3. Epe Federal Constituency – APC
Meanwhile, in Epe Federal Constituency, Lagos, the incumbent member of the House of Representatives, Wale Raji of the APC, won re-election with 19,337 votes, defeating Noheem Balogun of the PDP, who received 9,039 votes.
4. Agege Federal Constituency – APC
For other constituencies of the Lagos Metropolitan State, Agege Federal Constituency, Wale Hammed of the APC emerged winner with 27,445 votes over his closest rival, Sola Osolana of the PDP, who polled 13,376 votes.
5. Surulere Federal Constituency I – APC
The Surulere Federal constituency witnessed Femi Gbajabiamila of the APC emerge the winner, polling 19,717 votes against his closest rival, Bolaji Jeje of the PDP, who came second with 5,121 votes.
The APC’s victory marked a 6th term reelection for Gbajabiamila, the current speaker of the House.
6. Surulere Federal Constituency II – APC
Okinlola Lanre of the APC emerged winner in Surulere Federal Constituency II.
Prof. Akanbi Ilupeju, the INEC Returning Officer for the House of Representatives poll for Surulere Federal Constituency II, declared the result for the constituency at INEC’s collation centre in Surulere on Monday, February 27, 2023.
According to Ilupeju, Okunlola emerged winner with 27,725 votes, while Shoyinka Abiodun of the PDP came second with 4,875 votes.
7. Apapa Federal Constituency – APC
In Apapa, Adedayo Olumuyiwa of the APC emerged the winner of his constituency’s House seat.
8. Lagos Island I Federal Constituency – APC
Badiru Dolapo of the APC is the winner of the Lagos Island I constituency election, beating his rivals to win a seat in the House of Representatives.
9. Lagos Island II Federal Constituency – APC
Lagos Island II has Akiolu Moshood Kayode of the APC as the winner of his constituency.
10. Lagos Mainland Federal Constituency – APC
For Lagos Mainland, Oshun Moshood Olanrewaju of the APC came out on top in the constituency’s poll.
Olanrewaju, a serving lawmaker, will continue to represent the district in the House of Representatives till 2027.
11. Ibeju Lekki Federal Constituency – APC
In Ibeju Lekki, Balogun Adebayo Olusegun of the APC emerged victorious. He will represent the district in the House of Representatives from 2023 till 2027.
12. Shomolu Federal Constituency – APC
In the Shomolu constituency, Kuye Ademorin Aliu of the APC came out on top in the battle to represent the district in the House of Representatives.
13. Kosofe Federal Constituency – APC
In the Kosofe constituency, INEC declared Ogbara Adetola Kafilat of the APC the winner of the House of Representatives poll.
14. Ifako-Ijaiye Federal Constituency – APC
In the Ifako-Ijaye constituency, Olabinjo Benjamin Adeyemi of the APC emerged as the winner of the poll.
15. Alimosho Federal Constituency – APC
In Alimosho, Ayuba Ganiyu Adele emerged victorious for the APC.
16. Ikeja Federal Constituency – APC
James Faleke won the House of Representatives election in the Ikeja Federal Constituency.
Faleke, the candidate of the APC, defeated his rivals to clinch the federal legislative seat.
17. Mushin Federal Constituency I – APC
In Mushin Federal Constituency I, Alli Adeyemi Taofik emerged victorious for the APC.
18. Mushin Federal Constituency II – APC
Fayinka Moses Oluwatoyin was victorious for the APC in district II of the Mushin Federal Constituency.
19. Ojo Federal Constituency – LP
In Ojo Federal Constituency, Oluwaseyi Ayopo Sowumi of the Labour Party captured victory.
20. Badagry Federal Constituency – APC
Voters in Badagry Federal Constituency elected the APC candidate, Prince Sesi Whingah, as the overall winner with 34,970 votes.
He beat his closest rival, Adekunle Lebile of the PDP, who polled 7,637 votes.
21. Ikorodu Federal Constituency – APC
Benson Babajimi Adegoke of the APC snatched victory in the Kosofe Federal Constituency.
Adegoke will represent Ikorodu residents in the lower legislative chamber in Abuja from 2023 till 2027.
22. Ajeromi Ifelodun Federal Constituency – APC
Kalejaiye Paul Adeboye of the APC easily defeated his rivals to win the House of Representatives seat for Ajeromi Ifelodun Federal Constituency.
23. Oshodi/Isolo I Federal Constituency – LP
The Oshodi Isolo I Federal Constituency is another district where the LP had a good outing.
Dawodu Ayinla, the candidate of the LP, won the federal legislative seat.
24. Oshodi/Isolo II Federal Constituency – LP
The Oshodi/Isolo II Federal Constituency also witnessed an LP victory.
Jesse Okey-Joe Onuakalusi of the LP won the race to represent the district in the House of Representatives from 2023 to 2027.
